Machineland, Machine, Mystery
Summary
Kazuma and the Valstork Family are ready to reentry. It seems they must prepare for battle just after it. Meanwhile, at Hell Island, Dr. Hell orders Baron Ashura to strike now that the Mazinger Team is wounded, and the Getter is unable to deploy.
At G-Island City, Mamoru's parents talk to him about how dangerous the city is now that not only the Mech Beasts but unknown robots are attacking as well. They tell Mamoru to take care, worried that one day he'll vanish the same way he appeared in front of them.
At school, there's a new transfer student who seems to be gun-manic. He introduces himself as Sergeant Sousuke, and Kaname is sure he's a wierd guy. As soon as classes are over, Kaname walks around town with Kyoko, complaining on how her life has become hell after the transfer student appeared. It seems Sousuke dragged her into many situations, but Kyoko knows he's trying to protect her. They end up meeting Mamoru, Hana and her dog, but soon Sousuke appears threatening the dog. Kaname doesn't believe on the situation and leaves.
However, when she bumps into a strange man, he knows he has found the boy with the G-Stone. He calls out a Zondar, and Sousuke gets everyone to retreat. The guard forces arrive, but their mechs are taken over by the Zondar. When the enemy is about to reach Mamoru and Sousuke, they're stopped by Arm Slaves hidden by the ECS. A third one comes, and this one is stopped by Volfogg, a robot from GGG. Mamoru knows it's his job to help, so he asks Sousuke to let him go. Sousuke allows him, telling Kaname that he's no child.
As the combat ensues, Guy arrives with the Ryu brothers, relieving the Arm Slaves from the combat. As Guy defeats the Zondar with his mighty Hell and Heaven, Mamoru purifies the core to save the absorbed human. But the battle isn't over. Dr. Hell's forces arrive, but the Mazinger team also appears, even though damaged.
As soon as Valstork family arrives to turn the tide of the battle, Ashura has other plans. He captures Sayaka and orders Koji to fight against his own friends to save her. By doing so, Mazinger gets heavily damaged, and Ashura breaks his promise of letting her go. Just at the moment of the killing blow, the Mithril Arm Slaves appear, requested by Volfogg, to shoot the Gool's hangar joing. Sayaka is saved, and Koji is willing to sacrifice his life to finally defeat Ashura. With the Mazinger Z about to explode, he throws himself against his nemesis as the big explosion ensues.
Tetsuya is unable to shed tears for their loss, as they have much to do now that Koji is gone. The Mazinger team withdraws back to Photon Labs, to prepare for Dr. Hell's next strike. Meanwhile, the heads of GGG and Preventer unite to announce the Operation W. They're sure now they must replace the spot left by the Mazinger team with other ones.
The Mithril submarine heads towards G-Island City. By accepting their request, they'd be doing a good to protect the Whispered people like Kaname. Back at the safe house, the 3 from Mithril are still keeping an eye on their angel. Sousuke listens to Kaname's phone taps, and it seems she thinks Sousuke's a funny guy.
At an unknown place, Pasder and the 4 generals of the Zondar gather for their next move. Their target now is the G-Island City.
