Both GoNintendo and SRW HotNews posted new scans from this week’s Famitsu on the newest entries of SD Gundam G Generation and Super Robot Taisen franchises.
A brand new Super Robot Taisen game featuring… a school of Super Robot? 
According to Terada’s interview (sorry, quick look at low-res-scan translation), it’s a game based on the idea of a 2 player versus mode that was introduced in Xbox 360′s SRW XO.
Of course, it has a single player mode that features and adventure style gameplay. He promises this game would please fans from traditional SRW games, as well as those who enjoy Adventure+Mecha battle.
The cast list is awesome as it can get, with almost all entries from the latest GBA and DS SRW games (related series grouped together):

Surprise, surprise, they left out Gundam SEED and Tekkaman Blade series (both I and II) but inserted Shin Getter Armageddon, which was last seen in SRWD.
Anyway, it feels like they’are experimenting to bring on more players into SRW franchise, first with Endless Frontier, now with an adventure game. Also it’s a game that’s “easy” to produce, considering the obvious recycling of animation. It won’t stop me from playing, though ^_^
