After 3 weeks of gameplay, I’m at 51% of unit profile completion due to time issues. Here’s the rundown of my playthrough, read more for more details:
- enter the Mobile Dolls at Gundam W’s scenario, and they’re much tougher than Cloudas as expected
- finally got W Gundam Zero and Exia Repair II, now to wait for Raiser System OP
- interrupted W to play OO’s scenario until finale
- my next scout link: Shinn Asuka
Origin Generation, Neo-Zeon Conflict, Guidepost to the Moon
The Titans commence a colony drop operation at Moon’s Granada, the main source for AEUG’s resources. Yazan leads the troops at the top map, while Camille leads in the Zeta at the bottom map. As soon as one unit goes to the top map, reinforces will appear at the bottom. Defeat Yazan with Camille to draw out Scirroco’s fleet, led by Jerrid and Mauar.
Watch out for Jerrid and Mauar, as both move together. Defeat Jerrid with Camille and Mashmar and Chara from Axis’ fleet join the battlefield. Unlike many colony drops situations on games, there’s no time limit on this stage, so you can take your time.
Another Generation, After Colony, Sanc Kingdom of Glass
The Romefeller Foundation is against the Perfect Pacifism that Sanc Kingdom preaches, and starts an invasion using Mobile Dolls. To defend their country, Noin throws Relena’s ideals of no-armed intervention and deploys, gaining help from Quatre in the Sandrock Kai and Heero in the Epyon. Zechs also reaches the battlefield in the Wing Zero, but Zero System takes over his will.
Defeat Zechs with Heero and Titans launches their forces. Jerrid leads in a Baiaran, wanting to proof that only power can control the world. Defeat Jerrid with the Master Unit, and Relena communicates their surrender. The Sanc Kingdom is destroyed nonetheless, but that doesn’t mean the battle is over.
The three Gundam Throne appear, claiming that Sanc Kingdom has become a symbol that draws war and warrants an armed intervention from the Trinity brothers. The three of them together can be a tough opponent, but if they’re the only enemies, there’s nothing to worry about.
Another Generation, After Colony, Battle at Barge
The Romefeller Foundation gathers its army at Barge, waiting for the completion of Libra. However, Libra is hijacked by civilian resistance called White Fang, who now announces their new leader: Milliardo Peacecraft. As White Fang forces approach Barge, they’re decimated by Barge’s cannon.
Milliardo deploys by himself in the Epyon to prevent another fire. Confront Barge with Milliardo and Titans will help for the aid, led by Jerrid and Mauar. Be careful with Barge’s cannon range, as it can decimate weak units.
Defeat both Jerrid and Mauar with Master Unit and the Trinity brothers come back, this time under orders to test an anti-MD unit: Gundam Aquarius.
New Generation, Celestial Being, Unifying World
AEU, Union and the HRL combine their forces at the desert of Taklamakan in a plan to take out Celestial Being. Even though they know of the danger, the Gundam Meisters advance, and the battle proceeds in three separate maps. Lockon and Alleluya can easily take care of their opponents, but Setsuna and Tieria will have energy problems.
Meanwhile, your units will be on their own against Sergei’s forces. Take out Sergei with the Master Unit and the attack will stop for a while. The Meisters try to escape, but they face other threats: Patrick against Tieria, Graham and Soma against Lockon and Alleluya, and Setsuna against Saachez. Also, Tsubarov launches some Mobile Dolls to aid. Since the maps are now unified into one, gather the Meisters to hold against the newcomers.
By defeating Saachez with Setsuna, Tsubarov launches more Mobile Dolls, but they’re destroyed by other Gundams: the Trinity brothers. At the same time, Andy “Desert Tiger” Bartfeld comes to finish off their duty with a bunch of BuCues.
At this point, I finally got Exia Repair to evolve into Exia Repair II. Now I need to wait for a Raiser System OP. Also got the Wing evolved into Wing Zero. I still have Christina Mackenzie in a OO Gundam as my Master Unit, as well as Amuro in a Zeta Gundam. Too bad he doesn’t get special quotes for Zeta’s Super Strike beam saber attack.
New Generation, Celestial Being, The World’s Answer
The newly formed United Federation gain access to the Tau-Drives, fake solar furnaces that matches the power of the Gundams. With the Trinity brothers underwhelmed by such power, the Throne Zwei is stolen by Saachez. They now advance into space to take out Celestial Being for good.
Lockon leads Ptolomeus’ defense line in the GN-Armor Type D against Saachez and other aces. Confront Saachez with Lockon, and Setsuna arrives just in time for a CG cutscene. There are many differences from this stage to the original storyline as expected.
Spoilers:
Lockon doesn’t die from his battle against Saachez. Instead, Setsuna destroys the Throne Zwei using Trans-AM.
More enemy forces appear. This time, the GN-X are led by a giant golden Mobile Armor: the Alvatore. At west, the Dominion strikes with the Lohengreen, and the 3 Extendeds launch with Daggers to back them up. It’s a long road to the Alvatore, but they eventually move toward the Ptolomeus. Watch out for its map attack, as it can destroy Exia if it’s under 10000 HP, and there’s no Trans-AM to save him.
Destroy the Alvatore and Alvaaron appears. Defeat Alejandro with Setsuna, and one last enemy appears to confront Setsuna: Graham in a GN-Flag. At east, Girty Lue arrives bringing Neo and the 3 Extendeds. This time, however, Stellar uses a Destroy Gundam, which has reflectors that nullify any type of ranged beam attack.
This stage can be tough if all enemies are confronted at once, which isn’t much the case. Hold your ground and trigger the War Breaks when the situation is at your favor.
Next Scout Link
I chose Shinn Asuka as my next Master Character, in hopes of recruiting the Stargazer crew. With this, I also got Minerva available to purchase.
