It’s possible to see how the animation evolved, specially the animated cut-ins of Dancouga Nova’s Dancouhou. Rushbird also shows some impressive moves. As a side note, this time Wu-fei starts afilliated to Katou Kikan, it seems. It seems the themes for Linebarrels and Dancouga Nova are its respective opening songs, and Wu-fei features Last Impression (again).
New info from Famitsu scans and the official site show off the original characters for SRWL, as well as some refinements to the partner system.
A new G Generation game for the iPhone is in the works, as announced by Famitsu’s article. Touch is still a tentative title. There’s also a gameplay video.
So a new SRW is soon to be announced for the DS right after ACE-R’s release. The shots are low quality, but they seem legit enough. Launch date is November 25th. There’s also two scans of magazine indexes listing SRWL. Updated with more scans and prologue.

An incident named “Second Impact” worsened the situation, already affected by the presence of unknown organizations “Darius Empire”, “Kato Organization” and “Dancouga”. The strengthening of military forces to confront those raised the tensions between Earth and the colonies.5 years ago…
The battle named “Giant Wars” between mankind and the giant beings “Mimetic Beasts” started. Mankind wins after great suffering, but without finishing the civil war, and after the colony’s terrorist attack from 3 years ago, the Earth and colonies started a full scale war.2 years ago…
The war that lasted 1 year finished with Earth forces’ victory, but the defenses of nations were destroyed. When the “Mechanical Beast Empire” appeared aiming this chance, the union with colonies created a new alliance that was able to defeat the “Mechanical Beast Empire” and “Micenae Empire”.Days of peace finally arrived, but didn’t last long, with the assault of the “Darius Empire” and the unleashing of “Great Jama Empire” from it’s seal, mankind has yet to achieve complete peace.
And now… The contact with visitors from another world will raise the curtains of another war.
ACE-R is out in the wild but since I don’t own a PS3, I’m keeping myself busy playing Xenoblade. The Japanese version of the game’s been out for 2 months and Nintendo has yet to announce a release date for the localized version, but I’m still enjoying this great RPG.
For that matter, I want to present a blog dedicated to Xenoblade where I post some kind of walkthrough with hints and tips. Although I’ve already beaten the game once, I’m starting a fresh new game to go along with the experience I had from the first playthrough. I hope you enjoy the ride.
This week’s Famitsu scans reveal the first stages for each series as well as the original character: a girl named Autumn, and two mechs: Arc Alpha, the main battleship alongside Macross Quarter, and Alphart.
Update: Terada’s newest post at the official blog hints at the several “1st stages” that appear in the scan.
At the beginning of the game, the player selects one series as a starting series (which also becomes the favorite series). Later, all series gather together at the original planet Area, so that no series get a late appearance.

This week scans show Famitsu’s review for Masoukishin – Lord of Elemental (7/8/8/8) and release date for Another Century’s Episode R (August 19th).
Also, it seems that Amuro’s Z Gundam 3 will be available through a special product code as a pre-order bonus. The unit is normally unlockable via special conditions, but those in a rush to use it can pre-order the game and unlock it at the beginning. The scan also shows a weapon charge system and pilot swapping.
