A new G Generation game is coming out for the… PSP!? You heard it right, Bandai Namco still hasn’t given up on Sony’s old handheld just yet. It’ll be released on September 27th. Updated with better scans.

Newest Famitsu’s scan reveal that the game features a big cast list compared to its PSP predecessor, with the biggest additions (or returns) being W’s side story G-Unit, Unicorn’s episode 5 and 00′s sidestories.

It seems that the game will feature two story modes this time. One is the traditional World Tour: stomp through several scenarios based on randomly chosen Gundam series’ plots. The other, World Core, follows a story about a huge and mysterious network system. Does this mean that a true cross-over storyline is finally coming back? I hope so.

Now, according to 2ch posts, a new gameplay system named “Master Skill” is implemented, giving special skills to leader units such as: Tension Up, Ally HP Recover, 100% Evasion, Gundam Killer and Move Again. Would this mean the end of Chance Step?

According to the HD scans:

  • UC / UC-MSV brings us Banshee, Sinanju Stein, Gundam Delta Kai, Delta Gundam, Rosen Zulu, Proto Stark Jegan and Anksha
  • G-Unit’s mandatory Griepe and Hydra
  • X Astray brings Powered Red Frame
  • Endless Waltz brings us Katoki versions of Wing and Epyon
  • 00V has Avalanche Exia

More info on Master Skills: it seems that you can use a skill once at the battlefield, and has to go back to the battleship to recover it. More examples of Master Skills:

  • EN recover
  • Exp up on damage
  • Free range capture
  • Attack up
  • Infinite MP
  • 100% accuracy
  • Red Buster (guessing it’s damage against red colored MS)
  • Infinite chance step

Now, with all the new additions comes the price: what will be cut?
