Who or what is Ikusagami?

Ikusagami is a fictional character elaborated for a self-authored manga that never came to exist. It’s absolutely NOT related to the Japanese Playstation 2 game. Though the manga was never written, the name was promoted for this site’s name and Edgar’s account name at GameFAQs.
