It's too bad that Astray got the lowest end of the stick, though. I was also glad to see Def and Tokio back, though it's just them and Bosch it seems.

Surprisingly, I'm seeing myself watching more animations than Wars. The lack of intro and explosion animations made them quicker to watch, but the lack of voices and no text whatsoever is kinda sad, specially for Cagalli.

I agree, It's amazing how Unicorn's animations are well done, specially the beam magnum one, which is quite different from the standard attack by showing the enemy first instead of Unicorn itself. No wonder they slapped it right into the prologue just to tease us ^_^

The series that only got a few unit inside are the newer series that just got in the game, all UC units from Spirits that missed out on Wars were back in World (Yay Hazel Rah & Re-GZ Custom!) and even added some more new UC units.

The loss of the super critical music really is quite a sad thing, it made me watch battle animations less often than I did in Wars. Nevertheless the new animations were incredible. IMO some the Unicorn series' animation even surpassed SRW standards.

<a href="#comment-316" rel="nofollow">@Ikusagami </a>
haha Moonwalking Soleil, that brings back memories XD
Some WS might lose an edge for having front and rear catapult, but I think the deploy move counts on the edge of the WS rather than from the center of the WS (if you look at the scan with the Argama Kai, the far-most right movement block shows three blocks of the same range following the shape of the WS.)

I remembered beam confuse on Wars (although I never used it), and yeah it had some anti-funnel skills (God Gundam also had it).

<a href="#comment-315" rel="nofollow">@hiroy_raind </a>
Yeah, it was a huge issue having to rotate the Soleil (or even have it "moonwalk" around the stage). On the other hand, it seems that Nahel Argama Kai would lose some advantages, as it has catapults on front and back.

I don't remember if it was in Wars or other game, but Zeta Gundam had an ability called Beam Confuse which would disable funnels. This time, not only missiles but bazooka rounds and grenades too can be disabled (both Unicorn and Sinanju do that in the PV), which is very nice.

with the simple map shape and centered deployment, the Soleil will likely be even stronger than ever (since back catapult is it's only drawbacks in Wars).

and I just realized this, but the second PV showed that missile type attacks can now be intercepted. Dunno if this is skill/MS specific, but I think it's a good (& cool) way to nerf the missile attacks.

nice, Multiple Lock-on's on normal unit :D
though the question is wheter tha enemy can do that too or not (hopefully we won't get spammed if they do).

and whoa MP ZZ?
The unit list kept getting more and more awesome, but I'm worried that the PSP version gonna lose something as a compensation.

That is a wise decision. No matter how much a Gundam fan I am, I'm finding this game to be rather disappointing, specially for its clunky touch controls. I just hope that they tweak it at a later update, alongside DLCs.

Personally, buying the gift card wasn't much of a hassle, it was worth just for spending the rest of it on the full version of Ghost Trick: 1600 yen for the full episode package, much cheaper than its DS counterpart ^_^

Thanks for the prompt reply to my questions. :)

I'm keen to get the full version but I'm put off by the hassle of the buying process, especially about where to spend the remaining credits from the jp giftcards from itunes and it doesn't comes cheap either. I think I will hold out for a bit longer and see how the games develops further with subsequent release of DLC before making a decision.
